BCDP partners with World Vision Kenya (WVK), through Nyatike CDP in implementing Registered Children (RC) management Project with a goal of ensuring sustained well-being of the 1410 registered children within Central Kadem, South Kadem, South East Kadem, East Kadem and Kaler Locations of Nyatike Sub-County in Migori County.
Anticipated Project Outcomes:
- Increased access to health and social services for the 1410 RC and their families in the 5 locations by end of FY2020.
- Enhanced access and retention to education by ensuring that the targeted 1079 RC and their siblings within the wards are educated for life by the end of FY2020.
- Support programs that address children’s spiritual nurture in partnership with local churches within the 4 wards by the end of FY2020.
- Strengthened child welfare and protection structures, RC HHs and community systems within the 4 wards to be able to effectively provide effective protection responses for the targeted 1410 RC and their siblings by end of FY20.
